For more than 13 years, we’ve listened to people’s experiences of health and social care and helped make sure local voices influence services.
That work isn’t changing. We’re building on it.
Introducing Veera
Veera brings our experience of Healthwatch, community engagement and lived experience together under one identity.
We’ll continue delivering Healthwatch services in Kirklees and Calderdale, listening to people’s experiences of NHS and social care services and helping people find the support they need.
But Veera allows us to do more.
People can Talk To Veera about the things affecting their everyday lives, including health, home, transport, learning, community, money, and benefits.
We’ll use these experiences to identify themes, highlight inequalities, and provide insight that helps organisations across West Yorkshire make better decisions.
A new name. A wider conversation.
Veera build on everything we’ve learned through Healthwatch while creating new opportunities to listen, learn, and help create positive change.
Healthwatch is still here. Our work is growing. And this is just the beginning.
